Oak desk - Before

This is a tired, worn and unloved desk - the polish is dead, the colour faded, the old rexine  top insert is lifting, the handles have all been damaged or knocked off.

The restoration was fairly straight forward - re-laying some blistered veneer, repairing a few mouldings, replaced broken or missing handles, complete strip, re-stain and repolish, new gold tooled leather top insert and wax finish - job done
